Despite the complete decimation of the airline industry, and the knock-on effects that disrupts both their suppliers and the passenger transport sector in general, we have seen a big upturn in our freight crew transport services. This is obviously due to the urgent airfreight requirements needed for the transportation of PPE and, more recently, vaccines both to and from Europe alongside the regular freight runs of fruit and flowers.
Luckily Doncaster Sheffield Airport has ensured that all aircraft have received the rapid turnaround times required and, as reported, are fast becoming one of the most user-friendly freight airports in the country with first-class cargo facilities for scheduled services and the ad-hoc movement of goods.
Great news then for DSA, Doncaster and us as, apart from the few business meetings that we have undertaken and the hospital appointment transfers, it's helped to fill the very large void in our diary.
Domino Transfer are very pleased to have provided airfreight crew transfers for Antonov Airlines, Silk Way West Airlines, Air Atlanta and our very good friends at Magma Aviation and we're hoping that, as these airlines have received such good service from the guys at DSA, Doncaster remains on their maps for the future.
