Domino Transfer have always strived to stand out from the mainstream Executive
Private Hire operators by investing in the latest vehicles and specialist chauffeur training. But with a RoSPA Gold Advanced Driver Award, a Specialist Operations Academy VIP Chauffeur Award, First Aid training and being a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists there was still something missing, something else to acheive - until the formation of The Guild of Professional Chauffeurs!
Along with our associates we'll be undertaking an assessment on Sunday March 1st around the Doncaster area to ascertain our suitability to become members of the Guild. Advanced driving, first aid, security awareness and etiquette are just a few of the elements potential members must display to a high standard before they can join the well respected body.
The Guild of Professional Chauffeurs is a non-profit organisation that supports the very best of the chauffeur industry, and membership isn’t something that’s easy to attain. It’s considered a real accolade to become a member and chauffeurs must successfully complete a stringent and challenging assessment process to be able to wear the coveted badge.
As Steve Sommerfeld - the Guild’s chairman - points out, “chauffeuring was always a proud profession in bygone eras and we’re determined to resurrect the image the public used to have of what we do. Our job is much more than just driving and we’re providing a platform for the best of our industry to show off their considerable skills and pride in being able to call yourself a professional chauffeur”.
